Tupperware Smidgets in Pink and Red Set of 5 Review

Tupperware Smidgets in Pink and Red Set of 5
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These are great containers. At first, I was very disappointed in how poorly of a fit the lid and container were. But I decided to try them anyway, and proceeded to sanitize them properly.
Being a chef for six years has taught me many things. One of which, you should always boil new plastic containers for at least a minute (best at 5 minutes) to remove any contaminants from manufacturing. We get enough plastics and other chemicals in our diets already. And if you are buying for your kid's lunches like I did, you should do this purely for your family's sake.
The trick to plastic containers with fitted lids is that after you boil them in plain tap water for at least one minute:
1. Remove from boiling water using a pair of tongs or a slotted spoon.
2. Tip the container/lid so most of the water drains back into the pot.
3. Immediately find it's matching container/lid from the pot, and after draining it as well, put the two pieces together.
4. Allow to cool.
5. The lid and container should now be a much better fit. They might still be snug, but should be much easier on your fingers.
Don't take my word for it though. Please only try one at first to make sure it works as well for you as it does for me.
I hope this helps everyone purchasing this product.

Tupperware Large Season Serve Container Lime Review

Tupperware Large Season Serve Container Lime
Average Reviews:

This product is made of pretty good quality material and it probably does what it says to marinate meats. My problem with it is if you ever press down hard to lock the two pieces together, good luck in ever getting them to separate again. There is no handle or prying points to separate the two pieces. You better have a good tool kit with hydrolic power handy to pry, gouge, cut (yes cut) and force the little box to open. It's frustrating and just terrible. I finally just cut the outer rim off the box so it does not create the seal from hell which make my life a lot easier.

These little containers are awesome and have so many uses! I use them to take balsamic vinegar and salad dressings to work in my lunch. They're also great to use for traveling for things like shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. They're sturdy and they seal well, too!

Tupperware Forget Me Not Containers, Set of 2 Review

Tupperware Forget Me Not Containers, Set of 2
Average Reviews:

This thing is great for onions, not so great for leftover tomato. BUT, it doesn't hang on the side of my shelf worth a hill of beans. I've got a 2000 Maytag Fridge with the glass shelves that pull out. I think they're thicker than the older fridge shelves, which might be part of the problem. But whether the shelf stays perfectly staionary or you pull them out, this container does not want to stay put. I've had mine fall repeatedly. Kind of the family joke - attack of the savage leftover onion! So...if you've got a relatively new fridge, get it to keep your onion from going bad, but forget about it as a space saver.

Colors may vary, but you get two of these cool containers for hanging in the fridge. Use for half an onion, tomato, lemon, lime, etc.

I take my lunch every day, and these are the perfect size for condiments. The lids are a little difficult to get on at first, but after a while the plastic seems to relax a little and they work great.
I think they hold about 3 tablespoons.

After reading the reveiws, I decided to get these little containers regardless of the lids being hard to get on and off. I have been looking for something this small for a while and just had to have them. I did as suggested and boiled the containers and lids and then snapped the lid on as I pulled them out of the boiling water. PERFECT!!! They snap on and off now with ease and even my 7 year old can do it. I have to admit, before boiling them, there was no way I would be able to pack these in her lunch box...she'd never get it closed and if she didn't use all the dressing, we'd have a big mess in there. Plus, it was super hard for me too. Thanks, Chef, for the suggestion. I might have to get more as I am sure these little guys will get lost easily, plus my DD loves them.

Tupperware Fridgesmart 4 Pc Container Set Review

Tupperware Fridgesmart 4 Pc Container Set
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My reasons for taking 2 stars away:
- Lid is hard to close. I have to put the container on the floor and put my weight on it from the top. Even then, I still have a hard time making sure all 4 corners and sides are closed tight. I don't know if I need to "break" into the container (would lid close easily after multiple uses?) but this is not easy to use in my opinion.
Otherwise I believe the product works well (compared to keeping vegetables in plastic bags typically provided by grocery stores). Fruits such as strawberries and blueberries don't dry up and lose flavor compared to keeping them in the original vented plastic containers that come at stores. Asparagus did well for 3 days before I cooked it. Celery lasts longer.

Tupperware Apple & Grape Fruit Locker Container Set Review

Tupperware Apple and Grape Fruit Locker Container Set
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)

The Tupperware Apple and Grape Fruit Lockers are terrific. I used them, along with Tupperware's Rock N Serve Divided Dish, for my husband's lunches. They are a good size, not small. I peeled and sectioned two oranges for the apple locker and put mixed green and red grapes in the grape food locker. They kept the fruit safe from being crushed and he didn't have any leaks on the rest of his lunch. The apple is also great for cottage cheese or coleslaw and the grape container holds a big slice of pie. We have five sets of these and use them all. They are excellent for road trip snacks. He said he had never received as many comments before as he received on these. Men and women alike wanted to get them for themselves. Now that he is retired they still come in handy. We use them along with our Tupperware 3 Piece Impressions Bowl Set in Red and Green that holds a nice variety of snacks and, for beverages, we use the Tupperware Impressions Tumbler Set outside. Using unbreakable dinnerware, especially with grandchildren by the pool, is a good safety measure and, as a bonus, they look festive. ~ Mrs. B.

Tupperware Mini Snack Cup Green Set of 4 Review

Tupperware Mini Snack Cup Green Set of 4
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased these looking for lidded containers that would fit inside my daughter's bento box. With the lids on, one of these will just barely fit inside the deepest section of her narrow bento box. I use them mainly to pack applesauce in her lunch or as little snack bowls for my one year old, especially when travelling. The lids fit a little tight and can require some work to get on, but at least I know the container isn't leaking all over. My five year old daughter has not complained about not being able to open them during lunch, so I assume she has no problems opening them.
