The 1.25-cup and 2-cup bowls share the same dimensions except height. Therefore, the 1.25-cup and 2-cup use the same identical lids. These can be stacked into one big tower.
The 3-cup and 5-cup bowls share the same dimensions except height. Therefore the 3-cup and 5-cup use the same identical lids. These can be stacked into one big tower.
Put another way:
-- 4 1.25-cup bowls, 4 2-cup bowls, 8 matching lids [16 pieces]
-- 2 3-cup bowls, 3 5-cup bowls, 5 matching lids [10 pieces]
