(More customer reviews)my mom was concerned when other reviews talked about how difficult the lid is to put on and take off, but she followed the directions about heating it in warm water and has had no problems.
it looks like a smaller container than most, but since it is deeper, it does hold quite a bit more than you'd think. and we like the removable section for cold stuff so you can heat everything but your salad.

(More customer reviews)The main reason I like "Lock Its" is that I can throw my lunch in my purse and hop on the train unworried that it will leak. I don't need to concern myself over whether or not the containers are upright, because they don't leak no matter what their position.
This container doesn't leak either, but the dividers don't go all the way to the lid, so if you don't keep it upright, the food will slip around inside the container, defeating the purpose of the dividers. If you commute in a car, this may be a good product for you. But for folks taking public transit, it may be best to use separate lock it containers.

(More customer reviews)I just received this and used it to pack my lunch for the day at work. It definitely holds a lot (enough for a large sandwich in the big compartment and 2 large quantities of "sides" in the other compartments). However, I learned the hard way that the dividers don't actually reach all the way to the cover, which was what I was hoping for. When I took the top off to eat my lunch, the peanut butter that I put in one of the small compartments to go with the celery that I put in the other had spilled over into the other compartment and made a mess. So for anyone who might be wondering if the compartments are truly separate they aren't. Just wanted to spare others the disappointment of buying this with the same expectations that I had.

The Tupperware Rock N Serve Divided Dish is terrific. We have four of them two black, as shown in the product picture, and two amethyst ones. Until he retired, I used them for packing leftovers for my husband's lunch at work. Roast beef, pork roast, steak or chicken dinner leftovers were reheated with the food tasting just as good as it did when first served. We also used Tupperware's Apple & Grape Fruit Locker Container Set for his salads and fruit. His co-workers liked his enough to want their own.
Now that my husband has retired we still use them for reheating our leftover meals. He uses the black, I use the purple making it easy to tell them apart since we usually want different portion sizes of certain foods. We just heat them in the microwave using Power Level 7 to enjoy our leftovers. It saves using several different containers for leftovers and then needing to fix a plate. This way everything is divided for a one dish meal cleanup. We also like using our Tupperware Rock'N Serve 6-Piece Set, Gemstone for reheating leftovers. ~ Mrs B. (The Boss agrees!)
