I love the skinniness of this bin, but
1- the scoop is too small (love that it stores in the lid)
2- not quite the quality I expect from Rubbermaid
3- it does not hold a whole 30 lb. bag of dog food.
But it works.
You can't have everything you want. or at least I can't.

Vittles Vault 40-Pound Stackable Review

(More customer reviews)I've been using the Vittles Vault for several months now, one for dog food and one for cat food. None of the animals have even TRIED to chew into it, I think because the screw-on lids really do seal in the smell. I have one stacked on top of the other, so they are very space efficient. One thing I really like about this product is that it keeps the product fresh and fresh-smelling, without adding that nasty plastic smell. I go through a lot of feed with 4 dogs and 6 cats. Vittle Vault protects my feed investment from scavengers of all sizes and keeps the feed smelling as good as the day I opened the original bag. I've tried other containers, and this is by far the best! I use the size that holds 40 lbs of dry dog food, so I can easily move it needed, even when it's full. I have proven opinions on a lot of pet products, and this one is great!
