(More customer reviews)I purchased 5 of these through Amazon in early July 2010. 4 of the 5 have already broken where joined in the middle. The plastic must become brittle after time. I had two of them for several years and love them. When one broke for my husband, I thought he was using too much force in the peanut butter jar. I replaced them with the ones purchased here and the new ones have broken when I've been using them. The latest one I was cutting a grilled cheese sandwich and it snapped in half. I would not suggest buying them, unless a 6 month or less life span is okay with you.
