(More customer reviews)I was tired of using a ziploc a day for each one of my boys to allow them to take an afternoon snack to school. I had already used Lock and Lock and EMSA containers for other purposes, and was satisfied with reliability and durability.
I ordered multiple sizes to figure out what would work best. In the end, after a few days of experimentation, I found out that the 5 oz version is the perfect fit for my children's afternoon snacks. The hermetic closure is excellent: it remains tightly closed throughout the day in their backpack, yet it is easy enough to be opened by their hands (my boys are 5 and 11). It is small enough not to be a significant load or space hogger, yet is it big enough to carry a large snack. And - it is easy to clean up in the evening.
All in all - a perfect container for afternoon snacks. Now I don't feel bad throwing away multiple ziplocs every day.
