(More customer reviews)This is just okay as a pie carrier. As a cake carrier, it is awesome. It is actually both a pie carrier (two pies will fit in it) or you can carry a large cake in it safely. I knew that this was the cake carrier with inserts in it to allow pies to be carried in it. I have purchased other pie takers in the past that I like much better. But since I had the chance to get one that could double as both, I just went ahead & ordered it. And I know that Amazon would exchange it or refund my money to me should I have not decided to keep it. I am not at all sorry that I bought it. I always bake & always have a use for it. So as a cake taker I would give it 5 stars, but as a pie take I could only give it 3. All in all, it is a good investment.
