(More customer reviews)First of all, I will say that this stone does a pretty good job while it lasts. I've used it for all kinds of pizzas and breads and have generally been happy with the results. Unfortunately there's much more to the story:
1. This is a cheap, thin pizza stone, so it WILL break someday. They all do. I had one that worked pretty well for two years (with very careful treatment), but then it spontaneously split in half in the middle of baking a pizza. That's right, it was sitting still and doing what it always does, but it broke anyways. That's what cheap, thin stones do. If you think I'm wrong about that, go look around on the internet and decide for yourself.
2. If you have any brand loyalty to Oneida, be advised that it's not actually an Oneida product. It's a Bradshaw International product being sold under the (licensed) Oneida name. Bad move for Oneida's reputation if you ask me.
3. The warranty isn't what it seems. When I claimed the warranty, I was told repeatedly (obnoxiously so) that it's only good for a one-time replacement. I did get a replacement, but I seriously doubt it'll last eight years, so in my opinion that it is NOT a ten year warranty.
If I cared enough, I might make a bigger deal out of #3 above, but actually I'll happily just go get a better stone when my replacement breaks.
