(More customer reviews)The Pampered Chef 1 Quart Batter Bowl with lid is like an old friend to me. I just can't run my kitchen without it. It is a handy size- not too large or heavy and perfect for smaller batches of just about anything- especially batters for cake, brownies, pancakes, waffles, muffins and icing. Because it has a pour-spout it is very handy for filling muffin tins and waffle makers. The shape of the bowl makes it great for whipping egg whites or cream. It is microwave safe so I often use it for quick-steaming veggies as well.
I also have a larger 2 quart one, but I find myself using the smaller 1 quart size most frequently. I like that it is glass- easy to clean by hand or in the D/W and the lid is perfect for holding things over for later. I have not been without one in my home for over 20 years. They make great gifts- especially if combined with with utensils
and other little kitchen goodies. A great product! I hope Pampered Chef never stops making them just as they are.
