(More customer reviews)I bought one of these recently and I really like it. I grew up with my mother's Tupperware so I do have several pieces, old and new, in my kitchen. But this is what I find myself using for mixing anything like cake batter or quick breads. The sides are straight so the bottom is wider. There is a removable rubber ring on the bottom so it doesn't slide across the counter while you're stirring the batter. The handle is great...large enough for the biggest hands...and it feels very sturdy when you're pouring. Although I have yet to store any left over batter (I haven't had any yet) the lid makes that easy, too. This is by far one of the best batter bowls I've ever used. And if it gets dropped, it won't break.
