(More customer reviews)I Really like this little bin. I looked for a food bin instead of the old canisters we are all use to, all I found in food bins were commercial sizes. I found this container but when I received it I thought the size of the opening to get flour, sugar or what not from the bin is a little small. The entire lid does come off for easy filling. It's airtight like tupperware always is and the hinged bin lid snaps shut for an airtight seal. That is a major plus for me, outweighing the opening size. The bins stack and the hinged lid can be accessed even when stacked. I am keeping the 3 units I purchased and will most likely purchase more, I will buy measuring scoops to accommodate the smaller opening on the front of the hinged lid and I am sure I will be happy. It looks like one bin will hold a 10 lb bag of flour or sugar. I haven't actually filled it full yet but I am pretty confident it won't be a problem.
